I have been moved by the beautiful pipe music played in Howling Fjord and am very impressed that it is being used by Blizzard. The instrument is the Uilleann pipes from Ireland and, listening to other examples, have found what wonderful instruments they are. Only drawback is that I have been attacked a few times whilst drifting away with the music. Usually by damn Shoveltusks. have they no soul? The music is so much better in Wrath of the Lich King! Blizzard have made a real effort to make it atmospheric and most importantly come in at the right time to make the effect more dramatic.I like the music in Grizzly Hills the most it reminds me of Last of the Mohicans. The Fjord's music is stunning, and Blizzard is already known for their attention in their audio efforts. anyone know of any site that has sound bites, songs, music of the blizzard universe that they can link?I don't have itunes music store from where I live, so I am afraid that is not an option. I think he Wrath music on the whole is a massive improvement on everything before. That's not to say the original or The Burning Crusade music was bad, as there are some classic themes there.The principle difference for me is that the Wrath music seems more evocative, sophisticated, and subtle. Makes me feel zxcchcoshi all Bravehearty though. As long as you don't paint your face blue, go into battle 'Sky Clad' and moon us you're on safe ground. I haven't even made it to the Fjord. I started in the Borean Tundra since it was easy to get to from SW. I headed to DragonBlight next....I wonder if I should head to the Fjord. The music is most impressive, this Irishmen is overjoyed. I normally turn the music off but I was very taken this time and love to have it playing.
